The Washington, D. C. dog-and-pony shows continue.
Alleged law student Ms. Fluke testified before Nancy Pelosi's ad hoc committee, not Congress (no Republicans attended; doubt they were invited), to moan and groan about the lack of government-funded contraceptives at Jesuit school Georgetown University.
Ms. Fluke alleges these pills cost $1,000 a year. She attends a school with tuition charges north of $30,000 annually. Expenses in northern Virginia and southern Maryland must be plenty large, rent and food and books included. She figures out a way to pay. I bet she has a cell phone, maybe the iPhone 4, an iPad 2, and a Macbook Pro, all of which are high dollar tickets to the ether so she can spread her poisonous testimony.
It is NOT about contraceptives. It is about religious liberty, but larger, it is all about deflecting your focus from the epic failure of Obama's economic program which has unemployment above 8% (government statistics, not the true measure which is closer to 15%) and gas prices north of $3.55 per gallon in Glasgow, KY. Diesel fuel is even more expensive.
Obama is destroying our economy, he knows it, and he does not want you to think about the destruction. He wants you to think about sex and contraceptives and abortion drugs. He is the deflector-in-chief, and he wants you to be fooled.
Inform yourself. Go to your voting place on March 10 at 10 a.m. and help organize the Republican Party, if you are registered Republican. Attend the Republican Party's county mass convention on March 17 at 10 a.m. in the Fiscal Court Room. Elect delegates to the various conventions of the GOP. Get active.
If you are a Democrat, work within your party to return it to its Jacksonian roots and away from Obama and Pelosi and their radical un-American agenda. They oppose Liberty in the name of "transformation". We can no longer afford to have them in office. Work to rid the nation of these parasitic, Big Government thugs who seek to rule us from Washington.
Now is the time.
