Class Warfare in Glasgow?

According to sources, the rag known as The Progress, says two members of Barren Fiscal Court should forgo salary and benefits. These two members, according to the rag, are so well off financially that they should do the work they were elected to do for free. This is class warfare, plain and simple.

The rag's editor should know just what the voters knew in the elections of 2010, to wit, both men were in roughly the same financial position during their candidacy. The voters of the districts in question know well the two men because both have served prior to the election cycle of 2010. The voters gave each of them huge majorities in their 2010 victories. I trust the voters' judgment. I do not trust the rag.

I suggest the editor of the rag put his name on the ballot. If he wins, he can donate his pay.

Wait, he did run in May, 2008. He lost. Evidently the voters were smarter than he at that time too.

I would ask the editor, is it time for him to have another drink?
